Horticulture

Skill, Arts and Sciences

Grow almost any plant.

From the book

Horticulture lets a character raise almost any plant from seed or cutting. Plants grown from seed usually need 3-12 (3d4) weeks and have a 75% chance of reaching maturity; cuttings take 2-8 weeks and succeed 95% of the time.

The skill also gives a 95% chance to move a plant from one spot to another without killing it, and to carry cuttings over long distances and keep them alive. Alchemists and thaumaturges learn it at first level, which makes it a useful companion to herb-based alchemy.
