Stealth

Skill, Thieving

Moving and performing thieving tasks without making noise.

From the book

Stealth lets a character move, or carry out any thieving task, without making noticeable sound. The price is speed: a stealthy character moves at no more than half speed, so thieving actions take twice as long.

The chance of success is 95%, and the Game Judge may roll once per minute to see whether the character has slipped and made a noise loud enough to be faintly heard up to 100 ft away. Any metal armor halves the chance. It is one of the most widely taught thieving skills, known from first level by assassins, bounty hunters, martial artists, monks, rogues, spies and witch hunters.
