The Dao are a reclusive mystic order, every bit as mysterious as the Black Mystics but much more benevolent. These mystics and scholars usually live only in the most remote strongholds of Himvati, though a few have traveled across Jambu and beyond. They are quiet and thoughtful and rarely involve themselves in other people's affairs. Their power is said to be great, yet they are non-violent and detest physical force; they will, however, use their magic to shield the innocent and to wreck the schemes of evildoers.
