The Atlantean world holds a number of mystic orders with different aims, most of them born on the continent of Jambu. Two stand out.
The Black Mystics of Himvati are few in number but carry real weight in some regions. Their interest in certain necromantic rites, and their rumored ties to the Assassins, make them widely feared. The Dao, also of Himvati, are just as mysterious but far kinder: reclusive, peaceful mystics and scholars who use their magic only to protect the innocent and thwart the wicked.
