Black magicians and necromancers make up the Order of Baal, a secret society whose largest following is in Sheba. Its members worship the evil being Baal, arch-demon of elemental power.
The order was once very strong but is now thought to be dying out, as several factions have given up its old fanatical devotion to necromantic ritual and turned to witchcraft instead. The Black Druids of Mediterranea, a deeply secretive cult about which little is known, may have some tie to it.
