Skill, Magical/Alchemical
Inscribing a single spell onto a scroll in a one-hour ritual; only spell casters can do it, and each scroll counts as a spell cast that day.
From the book
Scroll-making lets a spell caster set one spell down on papyrus, vellum, hide or similar material using magical inks, burning enough incense for one ritual per scroll. Inscribing takes an hour and succeeds 90% of the time plus 1% per level, to a maximum of 99%.
The work needs total concentration and costs as much energy as casting the spell itself, so each scroll, whether the attempt succeeds or fails, counts as one of that day's spells; this limits how many can be written in a day. Only spell casters can make scrolls. A scroll holds a single spell and is useless once it has been cast.
