Interrogate

Skill, Thieving

Extracting information from an unwilling subject by verbal abuse, threats or torture; the subject resists with repeated WILL saves.

From the book

Interrogate is the art of extracting information from a reluctant or uncooperative person by applying mental or physical pressure. The subject must save vs Will or reveal what the interrogator wants to know, and the approach used determines how frequently that save is rolled.

Verbal abuse calls for a save every 10 minutes, and physical threats for one every 5 minutes. Torture likewise requires a save every 5 minutes, but each such period imposes a further cumulative -1 on the save and brings a cumulative 1-10% chance, as the Game Judge rules, that the subject dies by accident during that interval. Good-aligned characters must never be permitted to use torture. The skill comes to bounty hunters at second level and to spies at sixth.
