A shallow gulf of the Sea of Baku with safe passages known only to Sheban pilots; its small islands are mostly estates of Sheban nobles.

The Gulf of Zahran is also fairly shallow, but the Shebans have charted safe routes through it. A ship without a Sheban pilot is about as endangered here as in the channels around the Fires of Baku. Small islands dot the gulf, and Sheban nobles have claimed most of them as estates.
