Place, City
Sheba's capital, a bazaar-like city of parks and promenades whose markets sell goods from everywhere, including Atlantean imports. The Queen's Palace has Atlantean columns, gardens, myrrh trees and exotic animals, and the Library, College of All Sciences, Astrological Observatory, Temple of Ishtar, Royal Museum and Barrow of Baal stand in parks outside the city. It builds and repairs ships.
From the book
Bersheba, capital of Sheba, is a captivating city that feels like one vast bazaar, its shops full of the best wares from far-off lands; even Atlantean goods, brought via Tharshesh and Qaddan, are common in its markets. It is also lovely, with lush parks and tree-lined avenues. The grandest sight is the Queen's Palace, with Atlantean columns, fountains, pools and gardens scented by myrrh trees from distant Punt, and grounds where rare plants, birds and small animals create an exotic, almost rural air; the Queen keeps trained Sheban Lions there.
Other notable buildings stand in garden parks just outside the city: the Temple of Ishtar, the Library of Bersheba, the Royal Museum, the College of All Sciences, the Barrow of Baal and the Sheban Astrological Observatory. Sheban ships are built and repaired here.
