Evokes a greater spirit, greater demon or greater devil.

The caster evokes a being of the greater ranks: a greater spirit, a greater demon, or a greater devil. The process, and the special save involved, are handled under the Summoning Rituals rules. The spell is Non-variable; it is the 6th level member of the High Magic evocations, above Lesser Evocation.

A scene
In the Wilderness of Zin, on a night without a moon, the wizard Azariel stood inside his circle while a greater devil took shape in the triangle before him. It towered over him, bronze-skinned and horned, flames licking at its feet, and looked down at him with an expression of vast contempt. It spoke his name, softly, and he felt its will push against the circle. He held firm and spoke the evocation again. It resisted him once, twice. On the third time, it bowed its great horned head. It would serve.
