A powerful spell of undoing that works automatically, with no save, against a target within 100 ft. The caster chooses one of three effects: sending any summoned creature back to its home plane, dispelling any one magical effect that is not permanent, or lifting any one curse that is not permanent. Its power does not change with level.

A scene
The necromancer's winged demon has already torn the roof off the granary at Zarzis when Lykos the mage reaches the square below it. He does not bother with fire or ice. He points one finger up at the shrieking thing, which hangs less than a hundred feet above him, and speaks the full name of the king of planets. There is no struggle and no contest. The demon simply is not there any more, sent home in the middle of a wingbeat, and a few loose shingles patter down into the silence.
