Drives fear, whether natural or magically induced, out of the caster's own mind or out of the mind of one other individual or creature. For 1 minute per level of ability the subject is completely immune to fear of any kind.

A scene
The manticore drops onto the road outside Kush with its tail of spines rattling, and young Obi, the only spearman left standing, starts to back away with his knees shaking. The mage Amani calls out the lion's sign and flings her hand toward him. The trembling stops in mid-step. For the next several minutes Obi feels no fear at all, not of the spines, not of the teeth, not of the sickening wet voice. He plants his spear and waits for the monster to come.
