Reveals whether poison is present in or on anything within 10 ft. of the caster, whether a drink, a meal, a weapon, a device or some other object. It is a simple check with no save, and its range does not change as the caster rises in level.

At the Palace of Harmony in Tang the banquet has reached its ninth course, and the imperial astrologer Wei Lan has not touched a thing. She murmurs over her folded hands as the servants pour the plum wine. Within the span of her little circle, her senses snag on one cup only, the one being set before the visiting envoy from Meluhha. She rises, apologizes for her clumsiness, and knocks it into his lap. The envoy is furious. He will thank her in the morning.
