Lock-picking lets a character open, or jimmy, most kinds of lock without a key. Thieves' tools are required. The chance of success is 25%, plus 5% per level, and the Game Judge may add modifiers for especially simple or complex mechanisms. Most locks take 1-4 minutes to open. Rogues and spies learn it at first level.
