Tin governs rulership and control. Powdered tin (2 drs.), the three precious metals and 2 drs. taken from a chosen creature make a Potion of Control, letting the drinker command 1-4 creatures of that kind; they turn bitterly hostile once it wears off.
Its essence, violet Essential Tin, lets a doused amulet, rod or wand protect its wearer from control spells and compel up to 200 levels of creatures, and a quarter dose keys any magic item to a command word. Tin is Jupiter's metal, marked in violet ink.
