Iron carries strength and aggression. Two drams of powdered iron complete the Potions of Giant Strength and Ogre Strength, giving the drinker the might of whatever creature supplied the blood, and it lends its strength to aqua vitae, the water of life.
Its essence, peacock-colored True Iron, can give a sword, axe, bow or up to 20 arrows a +1-4 bonus through a week of daily dousing, repeatable for up to four weeks. Iron is the metal of Mars on planetary medallions, inscribed in red ink.
