Stone workers include bricklayers, plasterers, stonecutters and masons. A skilled worker can raise solid walls up to about ten feet high with no mortar at all, and can build one-story buildings, foundations, walkways and staircases without calling in an engineer; such workers earn 5-10 SP a day. The best masons are artisans who carve elaborate archways, cornices and other decorative stonework, and can charge 1-10 GP a day or more.
