Sailors hired to work river, lake and ocean vessels, from oarsmen up to captains.

Crewmen are experienced sailors who fill the many jobs aboard vessels working rivers, lakes and the open sea. Their cost depends on the role: ordinary sailors and oarsmen are cheapest, then the marines who act as the ship's fighting men, then first mates and navigators, with captains drawing the highest wage. All rates are paid monthly and rise with the crewman's level of ability.
