Bounty Hunter

Bounty hunters are included among the hirelings, though they are covered in full as a profession. As dual-classed hunters and spies, they pursue people and capture or kill them for pay, and most would rather deliver a target alive, since a living prisoner is worth more. Given enough money, most will accept nearly any assignment.

Their minimum charges take one of two forms: a per-day fee settled on completion or delivery, or a fee scaled to the target's level with half due up front. The fee is tripled if the quarry is any kind of spy, assassin or hunter, and quadrupled for a spell caster, work that some bounty hunters accept only out of desperation, advising the client to engage a witch hunter instead. The client must also pay for any bribes, forged documents or special gear the job demands.
