A harbor market at dawn where a smith works an anvil, a scribe writes at a table, porters haul goods and sailing ships crowd the quay.

Spy

Hireling

Agents for covert work and information gathering.

From the book

Spies are specialists in covert operations and gathering information, hired for at least 1-10 GP per level per day. Each day, or as the situation dictates, the Game Judge rolls to see whether the spy has turned up the information wanted: the base chance is 10%, rising by 5% for every level, to a ceiling of 95%.

The danger runs both ways. Every day the spy also risks exposure, a 10% chance reduced by 1% per level, but no spy is ever so skilled that the chance falls below 1%.
