The heaviest weapon on the damage chart, this huge maul weighs 30 lb., deals 1-12 damage, and needs a Strength of 14. It costs 5 G.P.
A single two-handed weapon counts as basic equipment and is ignored for encumbrance. A character without proficiency halves the attack roll and modifiers, and the damage of each blow is reduced by the target's armor.
