The greatsword is the heaviest and most expensive sword on the lists: 20 lb., 2-16 damage, a Strength minimum of 14, and a price of 30 G.P. with its scabbard.
A character may carry one two-handed weapon as basic equipment without it counting toward encumbrance. One dose of venom coats a sword of any size, including this one, and orichalc enchantment costs 2 ingots per +1.
