The blackjack is one of the blunt weapons named for the Waylay ability, which knocks a victim senseless with a single blow. Rogues, corsairs and bounty hunters have this ability, and spies may choose it. Waylay only works when the victim is struck from behind or taken by surprise; a rogue succeeds 35% of the time plus 5% per level (95% at most), while a spy starts at 25% plus 5% per level.
