The boomerang is a 4 lb. thrown weapon that deals 1-6 damage, needs a Strength of 8, and sells for just 5 C.P. under miscellaneous weaponry.
As a hand-thrown weapon it is effective out to 5 ft. per point of the thrower's Strength and can reach 10 ft. per point at long range, where the non-proficiency penalty applies. A target taking evasive action halves the attacker's chances again. The book gives it no special rules beyond these.
