A very long infantry spear.

The pike shares a line with the halberd on the damage chart: 8 lb., 2-12 damage, and a minimum Strength of 12. At 2 G.P. it is much cheaper than the halberd.
A character not proficient with it halves the attack roll plus modifiers. If a pike is used to parry and the rolls tie, the pike takes the blow squarely and must make a save to avoid being broken.
