A defensive rune for shields, armor, bracers or amulets. Cut into one of these, it grants +1 protection against physical attacks.
Like every rune, it only works once it has been cut into an object: a sharp tool and one full hour of engraving or etching are all it takes, and the work never fails. The protected item counts as a runic device and a magic item.
