The rune of courage steadies the mind of whoever bears it, adding +1 to saves against magical fear and magical influence.
Like every rune, it only works once it has been cut into an object: a sharp tool and one full hour of engraving or etching are all it takes, and the work never fails. As a runic device, the marked item counts against both the three-rune carrying limit and the overall cap on magic items.
