Outposts of Tharshesh

Besides its colonies, Tharshesh controls several pieces of land used only as trading posts, which rely almost entirely on Tharshi ships for supplies. They buy from local peoples, typically opium, hashish, lotus, salt, rare herbs, oils, rough gems, raw ores, slaves and hides, paying in silver and asking few questions. Most are built like small forts of wood or loose stone, and besides the major ones, others spring up and vanish all along the Mediterranean coasts. In order of importance the main outposts are Tarsharon outside Joppa in Zin, Tarmel on Melos, Tarrak south of Huyuk in Yalak, Tarrus on Ogyrus, Tarroy on the Yalak coast north of Lesbos, and Tarbadar on the north-central coast of Dabba.
