The icy sea north of Jambu, bounded by Anostos, Jotunland, Zemlazelan and the Erian Ocean, of which it is really the western part. A strong arctic current carries icebergs westward around the globe.

The frozen North Sea is bounded by Anostos to the north, Jambu to the south, Jotunland to the west, Zemlazelan to the southwest and the Erian Ocean to the east. In truth these two are a single body of water, named by the lands they touch: the Erian Ocean is the part north of Eria, the North Sea the western part north of Jambu.
It is a frigid expanse of ice and water cooled by an arctic current that circles the whole world, passing through the Erian Ocean, then the North Sea, then the Sea of the Dead. The current is powerful and drives icebergs steadily westward, and sailors who venture toward Jotunland and Anostos often meet an icy death.
