Mediterranea, painted for this archiveIber
Place, Island
A fertile, green island with a rocky coast, feared for its aegir, dragons, spirits, dire wolves and goblins and teeming with every kind of Sidhe, supposedly under Oberon the Immortal. Most of it is dominated by the Picts, with the druidic realm of Uallach in the north and the colony of Tara.
From the book
Iber is a green, fertile island with rich soil and a pleasant climate, its bountiful interior contrasting sharply with its rugged, rocky coast. Travelers nonetheless fear it, with good reason. Dragons, dire wolves, spirits, aegir (swamp giants) and scattered goblin tribes all live here.
The Sidhe are very numerous, and every kind is found on its moors and in its dells, spread in small groups with no clear organization or social order. There is talk of a king, Oberon the Immortal, whose rule supposedly covers all of Iber's Sidhe. Humans are the greatest danger, however: the savage Picts dominate most of the island, the druidic realm of Uallach survives in the north, and the Tharshi colony of Tara lies on its shores.
