One person or creature of lower ability than the caster has to save vs Will or give up its true name. Because a true name opens the way to many devious magics, the victim afterward regards the caster as a sworn enemy and tries to kill them as soon as it can.

The imp had served its summoner for twenty years, and now it served the wizard Lysippos, who wanted something more. He cornered it in a chalk circle in his workshop and spoke the spell, and the imp writhed, twisted, clawed at its own mouth, and at last hissed out a long name of broken syllables. Lysippos wrote it down with care. The imp looked at him with pure, eternal hatred. He knew perfectly well that it would try to kill him the first chance it had. He also knew that, with its name written in his book, he held its leash.
