Calls one of the kerubin, the lesser servants of the caster's deity. The caster must make an offering, whether prayer, incense or candles, and the summoning follows the procedures laid down under Summoning Rituals. The save is listed as special. Only practitioners of Divine Magic may learn this spell.

A scene
The shrine of Ishtar on the road outside Bersheba has no guards, and thieves have already stolen the offering bowls twice. The high priestess Bilqis burns a handful of incense on the altar at dusk and prays aloud, and she needs no chalk circles, no bargaining. The air above the courtyard shivers. A great winged lion settles onto the temple roof, folding eagle wings as wide as a ship's sail, and looks down at her with golden, patient eyes. She asks it to guard the shrine, and it bows its head.
