Moonstone carries cold, ice and visions of the future. One carat, with yeti's hide or mummy's flesh, makes a Potion of Immunity to Cold, though fire then does double damage to the drinker. Two carats with malachite and rare earths make the Dust of Instant Ice, which freezes 1,000 cu. ft. of fresh or salt water. It costs 5 G.P. per carat.
