Black opal holds the power of premonition. Two drams of it, powdered and mixed with 2 drs. of bull's blood, make a Potion of Detect Danger: the drinker senses peril anywhere in a 100 x 100 x 100 ft. area and learns roughly where it lies, though not what it is. It sells for only 1 G.P. a carat.
