Bloodstone is associated with longevity and sells for 5 G.P. per carat. No mixture in the alchemy chapter calls for it by name, but as a gemstone it can serve as one of the seven powdered stones that every potion base requires. Bought from a shop it comes ready ground, at an average price the Game Judge may raise or lower with local supply.
