Fire opal grants immunity to fire. One carat of it, with a carat of ruby and 2 drs. of salamander's scales, makes a Potion of Immunity to Fire; the drinker shrugs off flame, but cold then does double damage, the reverse of the cold-immunity potion. It costs 10 G.P. per carat.
