Historians are scholars devoted to ancient lore and legend. A short consultation costs a fee based on the historian's level, while a longer engagement to carry out research is paid by the week. A historian whose specialty is magical lore is especially valuable to anyone attempting magical research, adding 1% per level to the chance of success.
