The great two-handed axe weighs 15 lb., deals 1-12 damage and requires a Strength of 12. It costs 4 G.P. in the hand weapons list.
A single two-handed weapon is part of a character's basic equipment and does not count against the encumbrance limit. A full dose of venom coats just one of these axes, and the coating is spent after the first successful hit on a target. Forging a magical version with orichalc takes 2 ingots per +1 of enchantment.
