The sling weighs only about 1/10 lb. It deals 1-4 damage, has no Strength minimum, and costs just 4 C.P.; twenty sling bullets add another 2 C.P.
Its effective range is 80 ft., with long range from 80 to 200 ft. at the non-proficiency penalty. Loading and firing a sling fits within one round. The Zephyr are renowned for their skill with it, but the giant Aesir are too brutish to use slings.
