A vast state-funded university with ten separate schools: Sorcery, Alchemy, Astrology, Engineering, Cartography, Horticulture, Linguistics, Ancient Lore, Theology and the Healing Arts. Tuition is steep at 200 gold pieces a month, and only applicants of above-average intelligence are admitted. Its respected library is closed to all but students and staff. For alchemy, it is reckoned second only to the Magical Institute of Dardanus. A neighboring shop sells non-magical supplies and equipment at average prices but no alchemical mixtures.
