Sea nymphs living deep underwater, often in company with tritons; some less scrupulous ones lure sailors to their deaths.

Nereids are sea nymphs who dwell far beneath the waves and are often found in the company of tritons. Most share the gentle ways of the other nymphs, but some have fewer scruples than their sisters and are known to draw sailors to their deaths. In play they breathe water and cast Elemental water spells of up to 5th level.
