Wood nymphs: female Sidhe who dwell inside trees in forest regions by means of elemental magic. Shy and raised to fear men's advances, which puts them constantly at odds with lustful satyrs and centaurs, though now and then one approaches an attractive male.

Dryads, or wood nymphs, are female Sidhe of the forests who use elemental magic to make their homes inside trees. As a rule they are bashful and keep out of the sight of anyone who is not Sidhe. Once in a while one notices a handsome male, Sidhe or otherwise, and approaches him, but most are far more timid and are raised to fear men's attentions. That upbringing causes endless friction with the more amorous peoples of the wilds, such as satyrs and centaurs. In play dryads can pass through plants and cast Elemental spells of trees and plants of up to 5th level.
