Arch demon of storms and the elemental forces, a 24th level warlock who casts any elemental spell at will, radiates cold, heat or lightning, is immune to elemental attack and can fly. Summoned, he grants a wish or unleashes a natural catastrophe over a one-mile radius.

Baal is the arch demon of storms and of the elemental powers of nature. He casts spells as a 24th level warlock and can use any elemental spell at will; by the appendix he can cast any witch or warlock spell at will at 24th level, and practitioners of black witchcraft often revere him. At will he gives off intense cold, heat or electrical energy for twenty feet around him, harming any unprotected creature that comes close. No elemental attack can hurt him, he is one of the few arch demons who can fly, and his touch alone can burn, freeze or shock as he chooses, dealing 3-18 points of elemental damage with each of two touches a round.

Called up with success, Baal offers either a single wish or a single natural disaster, such as an earthquake, flood or hurricane, over an area up to a mile across at a place of the summoner's choosing. If he is not offered a suitable price, he tries to kill the summoner with his elemental powers before returning to his own plane.
