Mephistopheles

Mephistopheles is the dreaded ruler of all demons and the head of the Hierarchy of Demons, said to be chaos made flesh. Down the ages he has gone by many names, among them Abadon, Typhon and Baelzebub. His hatred consumes him so completely that he would gladly wreck his own dark realm if that dragged the rest of creation down too. His level, Will and service are all unknown.

Lesser and greater demons who fail to attack devils on sight must face his wrath. Where he is brutal and destructive, his rival Asmodeus, lord of the devils, is subtle and scheming, and unlike Asmodeus he has never been credited with any sense of humor.
