Demon locust

The demon locust is a lesser demon. It has a level of ability of 10 and a Will of 8. It serves just as a common lesser demon does, obeying one uncomplicated command. No lesser demon serves for more than 10 minutes per level of its summoner. The Black Magic spell Summon Lesser Demon/Devil calls one.

Like all demons it hails from the Nether Realms: chaotic, evil, fond of tormenting and slaughtering the weak, and held in check only by the Hierarchy of Demons under Mephistopheles. Its summoner must be harsh, since any hesitation invites it to twist his orders; it shies at first from holy symbols, and lesser and greater demons must attack devils on sight. A flaw in the protective circle or triangle frees it to enslave or kill its summoner, and ordering more than its kind owes breaks the pact at once.
