Common greater demon

The common greater demon is the ordinary member of its rank. It has a level of ability of 16 and a Will of 13. It will perform any single service but will not travel more than a mile to do it. Any greater demon will grant a wish of limited power instead of performing its service. They answer the Black Magic spell Summon Greater Demon/Devil and the High Magic evocation Greater Evocation.

Like all demons it hails from the Nether Realms: chaotic, evil, fond of tormenting and slaughtering the weak, and held in check only by the Hierarchy of Demons under Mephistopheles. Its summoner must be harsh, since any hesitation invites it to twist his orders; it shies at first from holy symbols, and lesser and greater demons must attack devils on sight. A flaw in the protective circle or triangle frees it to enslave or kill its summoner, and ordering more than its kind owes breaks the pact at once.
