The caster silently points at a living creature facing him, and it must resist or die.

The caster simply points at a living creature up to 100 ft. away, and it must save vs Will or die; success means no effect at all. No words are needed, but the victim has to be facing the caster for the spell to work.

A scene
The Vanir reaver is laughing as he turns around to face the old Cimmerian shaman on the path. He has killed three of her people and he means to kill her too. She does not speak. She simply lifts her arm and points at his chest with one knotted finger. The laugh stops. He falls to his knees and then onto his face, and does not move again. The two reavers behind him look at each other, and then they turn their backs to her and run, because they have heard what happens to anyone who looks.
