Warns the caster of anything within 100 ft. that threatens their safety or wellbeing. The caster learns which way the danger lies and roughly how near it is, but not what it is, whether trap, ambush, monster or something else. It lasts 1 minute per level of ability.

A scene
The ferry across the Okawala River should be safe; people use it every day. Still, Kwame the astrologer mutters a few words as he steps aboard, and at once his skin prickles. Something ahead and to the left, perhaps sixty feet, means him harm. He cannot tell what. He stares at the brown water, at the reeds, at the ferryman's broad smiling face. Then, with great politeness, he steps back onto the bank and decides he will walk the long way round.
