Turns any crystal into a scrying device, working like the High Magic spell Divination but allowing up to three subjects per casting.

Turns any kind of crystal into a scrying device. It works just like the High Magic spell Divination (level 3) with two differences: it lasts a minute for each level of ability, and each casting lets the caster look in on as many as three different subjects. There is no save.

A scene
In the dusty back room of the Philosopher's Stone, the mage Kyra breathes on a lump of rock crystal the size of a fist and wipes it with her sleeve. The first face she seeks surfaces in the facets: the runaway apprentice, somewhere north, a day's ride away, in a pine forest. Then the stolen horse, stabled not two miles off. Then her brother, far over the sea, at a crowded quayside. After a few minutes the crystal goes back to being a lump of rock.
