An alchemist can use a lens to search walls, floors and ceilings for secret doors and traps, spending a full minute on each 10 by 10 ft. section and rolling a save vs Intelligence each minute to spot anything irregular. The search does not reveal what kind of trap is present and cannot find doors or traps hidden by magic. Alchemists make lenses from the same glass as prisms.
